Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka has joined Manchester United on a season-long loan.

The Slovakian shot-stopper, who kept eight Premier League clean sheets for the Magpies last term, will link up with the Red Devils for the duration of the 2022/23 campaign, with an option to make the deal permanent.

Dúbravka joined United from Czech side Sparta Prague on loan in January 2018, keeping a clean sheet in an impressive debut against Manchester United, before later completing a permanent move to St. James' Park in May.

The 33-year-old has made 130 competitive appearances during five seasons on Tyneside, recording 37 clean sheets in the English top-flight.

His strong performances in-between the sticks resulted in winning the club's 2019/20 Player of the Year award as well as the 2018 North East Football Writers' Association Player of the Year.

Everyone at Newcastle United wishes Martin the very best of luck for the rest of the season.
