Newcastle United's Premier League meeting with league leaders Manchester City at St. James' Park has been moved back

The game, previously pencilled in for Wednesday, 12th May at 7.45pm (BST), will now kick off at 8pm (BST) on Friday, 14th May.

Supporters won't be able to attend but it will be shown live on Sky Sports, who will be hoping for the same kind of entertainment served up in the fixture last season when the sides played out a thrilling 2-2 draw.

Matchweeks 36 and 37 have been rescheduled to provide an opportunity for each club to welcome the safe return of supporters before the end of the season, subject to the government's further easing of lockdown restrictions.

Matchweek 37 will take place in the midweek of 18th/19th May. Further details regarding matchweek 37 - when Newcastle United are due to host Sheffield United - will be announced in due course.
