Martin O’Neill’s men, who currently sit level on points with Serbia at the top of qualifying Group D, travel to the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi to face Georgia on Saturday, 2nd September, with kick-off set for 5pm BST.
And they follow that up with a home game against Serbia at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Tuesday, 5th September, kicking off at 7.45pm BST.
Both goalkeeper Elliot and defender Clark will hope to remain in the travelling party when O’Neill whittles it down from the 39 players named in the provisional squad later this month.
Fellow Magpie Aleksandar Mitrović, meanwhile, could feature for Serbia – who top the table ahead of the Boys in Green courtesy of a greater goal difference – if he is named in Slavoljub Muslin’s squad.
