Newcastle United's Sean Longstaff has been nominated for the Premier League's Player of the Month award for February.

The 21-year-old started all four of the Magpies’ games during the month, and scored his first Premier League goal for the club during Tuesday’s 2-0 victory over Burnley at St. James’ Park.

Longstaff only made his top-flight bow for United in December but has now started ten games on the spin for Rafa Benítez’s side, striking up an impressive partnership with Isaac Hayden in the middle of the park.

He is joined on the shortlist by Manchester City’s Sergio Agüero, Liverpool duo Sadio Mané and Virgil van Dijk, Manchester United pair Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw, Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace and Clarets forward Ashley Barnes.

You can cast your vote for Sean here. Voting will close at 6pm on Monday, 4th March and the winner will be announced on Friday, 8th March.
