nufc.co.uk takes a look at Tuesday's action involving the Magpies' loan stars

Dylan Stephenson

Young forward Stephenson made a decisive impact as a second half substitute for South Shields on Tuesday night.

Introduced with just over ten minutes remaining and the score level at 1-1 in their National League North clash with Chorley, the 21-year-old won it for the Mariners in stoppage time, rolling home after strike partner Paul Blackett had been felled by Magpies goalkeeper Max Dearnley.

The late winner at Mariners Park was Stephenson's fifth goal in his ten league outings for South Shields, who are now up to 11th in the table.

Matty Bondswell

Left back Bondswell was an unused substitute for Newport County on Tuesday night as the Exiles beat Morecambe 5-3 at Rodney Parade in League Two.
