A look at the weekend's action involving Magpies players currently out on loan

Michael Ndiweni

Young forward Ndiweni netted his first senior goal on Saturday, helping Annan Athletic record a 2-1 win over Stirling Albion on Saturday.

With the score level at 1-1, the 20-year-old struck what proved to be the winner just before the hour to put Peter Murphy's side in front and secure a vital three points in Scottish League One.

Ndiweni was withdrawn after 89 minutes at Galabank and will now hope to start again at Cove Rangers on Saturday.

Ryan Fraser

Fraser is in red-hot form for Southampton this season, and found the net again in his side's 2-0 win at West Bromwich Albion on Friday night.

The Scotland international's volley at the back post - a goal similar in style to Bruno Guimarães' well-worked opener in the Magpies' recent win at Nottingham Forest - gave the Saints the lead at the Hawthorns and set them on their way to an important win as they seek promotion from the Championship. He was replaced just before the hour.

Isaac Hayden

Hayden has enjoyed a solid start to his time on loan at Queens Park Rangers, and got another 78 minutes under his belt as they picked up a 1-0 win at Bristol City in the second tier. The former Arsenal man was booked before he came off.

Jamal Lewis

Full back Lewis played the majority of the game as Watford beat Rotherham United 1-0 away from home. The Northern Ireland international was substituted four minutes from time.

Yankuba Minteh

Another start in the Eredivisie for Minteh, who lasted just over an hour rof Feyenoord's eventual 1-0 home win over RKC Waalwijk.

Matty Bondswell

Bondswell came on for the final few moments of Newport County's 1-0 win over Gillingham in League Two, entering the fray as a stoppage time substitute as the Exiles looked to close out the victory.

Dylan Stephenson

Stephenson opened his account for the club last week but couldn't help South Shields seal victory on Saturday as they were thrashed 4-0 by Darlington. The forward was replaced with 25 minutes left.

Garang Kuol

Australian international Kuol was an unused substitute as Volendam drew 1-1 with Vitesse Arnhem in the Eredivisie.

Kell Watts

The centre back didn't feature for Wigan Athletic as they won 1-0 at Shrewsbury Town in League One.

Harrison Ashby

The former West Ham full back remains sidelined through injury and therefore missed Swansea City's 2-1 defeat at home to Ipswich Town.

Jeff Hendrick

Hendrick hasn't been included in Sheffield Wednesday's 25-man squad for the second half of the season, and as a result couldn't play in their 2-0 win at Millwall.
