A round-up of the weekend's action involving the Magpies' loanees, featuring a first Eredivisie goal for a teenage winger

Yankuba Minteh

The Gambian wideman came off the bench for Feyenoord at Utrecht ten minutes into the second period and, with his side crusing to an eventual 5-1 victory in the Dutch top flight, he added extra gloss to the win with his first goal for the club. Dancing past the goalkeeper, the youngster then beat a retreating defender before slamming home into an empty goal to round off a fine day for him and his team.

Garang Kuol

Australian forward Kuol was also in action in the Eredivisie at the weekend, making his first start for FC Volendam and playing 80 minutes of their 2-0 home defeat to FC Twente.

Harrison Ashby

Full back Ashby has enjoyed a promising start to his loan at Championship side Swansea City, but was withdrawn at half time during their eventual 2-1 defeat to Bristol City on Saturday.

Ryan Fraser

Scotland international Fraser had an afternoon to forget, as Southampton were thrashed 5-0 by Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. He came on as a half time substitute for the Saints, with the score at 3-0.

Jeff Hendrick

Hendrick joined Sheffield Wednesday on a season-long loan on transfer deadline day, but didn't sign in time to make his debut in their 0-0 Championship draw at Leeds United.

Jamal Lewis

Left back Lewis again missed out on making his Watford bow through injury as the Hornets were held to a 3-3 draw at Coventry City in the second tier.

Kell Watts

Watts enjoyed a full 90-minute outing for Wigan Athletic as the Latics were beaten 2-1 at Blackpool in League One.

Max Thompson

Goalkeeper Thompson has had a fine start to his time at Northampton Town, but the teenager couldn't manage to keep a third successive clean sheet as they were beaten 1-0 by Wycombe Wanderers.

Joe White

White was another late exit at the back end of the transfer window, and he made his debut for Crewe Alexandra as they beat MK Dons 3-1 at home. The midfielder stepped off the bench just after the hour mark in the League Two clash.

Matty Bondswell

Defender Bondswell didn't make it off the sidelines during Newport County's 2-2 draw at home to AFC Wimbledon.

Jay Turner-Cooke

Having made his St Johnstone debut away against champions Celtic last week, Turner-Cooke was pitched in to a 2-2 draw with Dundee in the Scottish Premiership. He played the first 69 minutes before being replaced.

Cameron Ferguson

Frontman Ferguson started for Forfar Athletic against Clyde in Scottish League Two, but was taken off with 20 minutes remaining in what ended a goalless draw.
