And Sørensen started the league game for the Dutch side, and made a striking impact as his well-placed looping header gave his side the lead on the stroke of half time.
It finished 2-0 to the hosts in the end, with Sørensen completing 76 minutes on a memorable night for the 21-year-old.
Meanwhile, in League Two, Jack Young made his first start for Tranmere Rovers as they beat Southend United 2-0 on Saturday.

Further afield, Florian Lejeune played the full game as Alaves earned a 2-0 away win at Real Valladolid in La Liga.
