Dukla had yet to pick up a point in the Fortuna Liga ahead of the clash, but – after riding out some concerted first-half pressure – they struck twice after the break through Uroš Đuranović and Ivan Schranz’s penalty.

Aarons played the first 58 minutes at the Stadion Juliska, taken off just moments before the home side opened the scoring.

Slovan – Czech champions in 2012 – are currently tenth in the 16-team Fortuna Liga, having amassed ten points from their opening eight games.

Elsewhere, Jack Colback and Dwight Gayle both played 90 minutes for their respective clubs in the Championship. Colback’s Nottingham Forest drew 0-0 at Swansea City, while Gayle hit the crossbar as West Bromwich Albion were held by struggling Birmingham City at St. Andrew’s.

In League One, Dan Barlaser came on for the final half an hour as Accrington Stanley drew 1-1 against Joey Barton’s Fleetwood Town. Luke Charman, however, wasn’t included in Stanley’s matchday squad.

Josef Yarney was again involved for Morecambe in League Two, but the Shrimps’ poor start to the campaign continued with a 2-0 defeat at Crawley Town.

And, in Turkey, Henri Saivet played 55 minutes as winless Bursaspor drew 1-1 against Çaykur Rizespor in the Süper Lig.
