Newcastle United Under-18s recorded a first Under-18 Premier League North victory of the 2024/25 season following a 3-2 away win against Liverpool on Saturday.

The Toon teenagers opened the scoring shortly after the half-hour mark following Ethan Ndiweni's close-range finish before Kareem Ahmed levelled for the Reds before the break at the Kirkby Academy.

Ndiweni, younger brother of former Magpies striker Michael, restored United's one-goal cushion shortly after the restart, minutes after Liverpool midfielder Joe Bradshaw missed a penalty.

Joe Brayson's converted spot-kick doubled the young Magpies' lead before Ahmed quickly reduced the hosts' deficit but Chris Moore's side, ultimately, held firm to record maximum points in Merseyside.

Newcastle United Under-18s: Will Anderson, Guy Bloomer, Logan Watts, Luke Craggs, Noah Morgan, Luke Gilligan, Mason Miley (Oliver Best 70), Kacey Wooster, Matheos Ferreira (Thomas Old 90), Ethan Ndiweni (Henry Johnson 73), Joe Brayson (Jack Patterson 90).
