Full back Emil Krafth is Newcastle United’s official matchday programme cover star for the visit of Watford on Saturday (3pm kick-off).

The Swedish international, who has started the last two games for Steve Bruce’s side, sat down with UNITED this week for an exclusive interview about his first month at the club – which has included the difficult low of the 3-1 defeat at Norwich City, followed by the elation of the 1-0 win at Tottenham Hotspur a week later.

In the eight-page interview, he also discusses his upbringing in Sweden and his career to date, which has included spells in his homeland, Italy and France before his move to Tyneside on transfer deadline day.

There are also regular columns from head coach Steve Bruce and captain Jamaal Lascelles inside this weekend’s issue, while singer-songwriter James Bay chats to UNITED about his trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

Ex-striker Arthur Horsfield – who played for both the Magpies and the Hornets – looks back at his time with both clubs in our latest Flying Visit feature.

The Toon Tombola returns with 50 brand new questions, and Christian Atsu is the first player to take part in the popular feature this season.

There’s plenty of historical content too, as Paul Joannou relates the fascinating story behind Real Madrid's visit to Tyneside in the 1920s.
