Newcastle United defender Stuart Findlay will remain on loan at Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock until the end of the season.

Former Celtic centre back Findlay initially joined Killie on a half-season loan deal in the summer, but he will now remain at Rugby Park until Monday, 18th June.

The 22-year-old, who arrived at St. James’ Park in July 2016, has made 16 appearances for Killie – who are managed by former Magpies coach Steve Clarke – during the first half of this campaign, scoring his first senior goal against St. Johnstone in December.

Findlay made his United debut last season, featuring in the 3-1 FA Cup third round replay win over Birmingham City at St. James’ Park.
