United stopper Pope was handed a start at San Siro by Gareth Southgate, but was beaten by Giacomo Raspadori's strike with just over 20 minutes left on the clock. Trippier, meanwhile, remained on the substitutes' bench for the defeat in Milan.

Goalkeeper Pope was handed England's number one shirt at Wembley, and had an eventful evening between the posts. He was beaten by Ilkay Gundogan's penalty and Kai Havertz's effort before the hosts fought back to lead thanks to Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and Harry Kane's spot kick. But the Magpies man's mistake allowed Havertz to stab home a late leveller for Germany, with teammate Trippier remaining on the bench throughout.

Winger Fraser impressed during his cameo in Scotland's comfortable UEFA Nations League win over Ukraine on Wednesday, recording a pair of assists for Lyndon Dykes' late double.
John McGinn put the hosts ahead in Glasgow before Fraser replaced Stuart Armstrong for the final quarter of an hour, and just four minutes later the Magpies man sent over the corner for Dykes to nod home his side's second of the night.
And with three minutes left, they repeated the routine, with Fraser delivering another corner onto the head of Dykes to make it 3-0 and round off an impressive win.

Fraser made another appearance from the substitutes bench as Steve Clarke's men recorded another victory, with the Magpies man entering the fray - again in place of Armstrong - for the final half an hour.

The Newcastle frontman - the All Whites' all-time record goalscorer - started up front and captained his country for the friendly in Brisbane, but was unable to help his side find a way through as Awer Mabil's goal just after the half hour separated the two sides. Wood completed 71 minutes before being replaced by Callum McCowatt.
