The in-form Shania Hayles - the Magpies' Sela Player of the Month for October - opened the scoring in the first half at St Andrew's before Isabella Sibley's first goal in a black and white shirt made sure of the win after the break.

It was a great result for Becky Langley's side given their opponents' lofty position at the top of the second tier - but United are now just two points off the summit themselves, having played one game fewer than the Blues.

Harriet Massey was there to bring newcastleunited.com this gallery from a great day on the road for Newcastle United Women.
