The 22-year-old joined Newcastle's Academy in 2015 and, after progressing through Newcastle's youth set-up, signed his first professional contract with the Magpies in the summer of 2021.
The Edinburgh-born youngster, who represented Scotland at under-21 level, made his first-team debut for Eddie Howe's side during a pre-season friendly against Athletic Club at St. James' Park in July 2022, and spent the 2022/23 campaign on loan at Hamilton Academical, making his professional bow for the Scottish Championship outfit.
De Bolle linked up with the Mariners, managed by former Newcastle United Under-21s lead coach Elliott Dickman, on Friday, 1st November after the expiration of his contract with the Magpies last summer and made his debut in South Shields' 3-0 away win against Warrington Town last weekend.
