A host of current and former players will be in attendance at the Newcastle United Foundation’s annual dinner, which takes place in Exhibition Park on Tuesday evening.

The specially-themed 125 Years United Dinner will celebrate the club’s illustrious history since it was officially named 'Newcastle United' 125 years ago, as well as shining a light on a number of present-day community heroes.

Hosted by respected television presenter and Magpies supporter, Gabby Logan, the event will also raise money for the Foundation’s wide range of community projects, which continue to change lives across the region.

Kate Bradley, head of Newcastle United Foundation, said: "For one night only, the Foundation will be ‘away’ from home in a magnificent marquee on Exhibition Park in the heart of our city.

"Tonight’s event will celebrate 125 years of Newcastle United Football Club but also pay tribute to the achievements of the Foundation’s unsung community heroes.

"For ten years, we have been coaching, mentoring and educating local people, proudly harnessing the incredible power of football to change lives.

"But we know there is so much more we can do and so tonight we will also be sharing our exciting plans for the future.

"Tonight’s event wouldn’t be possible without the support of our sponsors and so a huge thank you goes to First Class Supply, Carling, Bidfood, Terry Laybourne, Ramside Event Catering and, of course, Newcastle United Football Club."

You can follow the event with LIVE coverage on the club’s social media channels.
