Newcastle United supporters wanting to attend next week's EFL Cup tie with Preston North End at St. James' Park are advised to buy tickets as early as possible after the club reported strong sales for the game.

The Magpies face the Lilywhites in the last 16 of the competition on Tuesday 25th October (kick-off 7:45pm) and tickets bought before matchday are priced at only £10 for adults and just £3 for concessions.

Ticket prices will rise on matchday to £20 for adults and £10 for concessions and supporters leaving their purchase until Tuesday could face lengthy queues at the point of purchase and turnstiles.

While there is still availability in all areas of the ground, supporters requiring their tickets to be posted need to purchase by 5pm on Friday 21st October.
