Newcastle forward Daryl Murphy dropped in on a coaching session for a girls' football team as part of a Wonga Grassroots competition.

The Republic of Ireland international, who is currently recovering from a calf injury, came along to pass on some tips and hold a question and answer session for the Blyth Town Barca under-14s girls' team at the end of last month.

The Northumberland-based team, who play in the Russell Foster Under-14 Girls Premier Division, won the chance to visit Newcastle's training ground for a coaching session with some of the Club's coaches, as well as a £1,000 donation and corporate hospitality at a Newcastle game courtesy of club sponsors Wonga.
