UNITED was picked out as being among the top three publications in the Premier League by leading independent reviewer Premier Progs last season, and there’s more than 70 pages of content to be found inside the opening edition of the 2023/24 series.
Included is a six-page interview with one of the Magpies’ stars of pre-season, Elliot Anderson, as well as ten pages apiece for each of the three other sides taking part in the Sela Cup: Nice, Villarreal and Fiorentina.
The club’s historian, Paul Joannou, takes a look at Newcastle’s connections with the trio, while regular columnist Stan Gate delves into the archive to pick out a string of pre-season programmes from yesteryear.
Sky Sports presenter Pete Graves provides his thoughts on current events at SJP ahead of the new campaign, while we give a debut to a couple of our new features for the season ahead: Mags Around The World, looking at some of the club’s international supporters, and One of a Kind, in which we remember a different ex-Magpie’s only goalscoring moment in black and white.
There’s also a preview of Newcastle United Women’s encounter with West Brom – which takes place immediately after the men’s game on Saturday – and a feature length interview with one of the Lady Magpies’ new recruits, Amber-Keegan Stobbs.
All of that, plus much more, for just £3.50. You can purchase your copy outside the ground.
