Newcastle United fans will be part of a sea of black and white on Saturday as the club celebrates its 125th birthday.

All home supporters in standard seating areas will find a black or a white Newcastle United-branded flag on their seat ahead of the Magpies’ Premier League clash with Leicester City at St. James’ Park (kick-off 5:30pm GMT).

When waved by fans before the match, they will recreate the club’s famous black and white stripes in stunning fashion - enhanced by two supporter displays at both ends of the ground.

Supporters are kindly asked to use only the flag found on their seat, which can be taken home at the end of the match.

Supporters are also asked to take care around any flags which may have moved into aisles or across seats overnight. Stewards will be on hand should fans require assistance.

With flags precisely ordered to fill the stadium on this special occasion, we regret to inform supporters that there are unlikely to be any replacements available if flags are removed or broken.

Any additional flags which are used as part of fan-led displays by Wor Flags or Leazes Flags should be left beneath seats at kick-off and left there for collection.
