The versatile player signed for her former club in the summer of 2022 and was named captain the following year.

Prior to her spell with London City Lionesses, Joel spent two seasons with West Ham United Women after returning to the UK following three years in the American college football system.

Internationally, Joel has represented England at under-17 and under-19 level before starting her senior international career with Wales in 2024, making her debut against Republic of Ireland.
