Defender Jodie Bartle signed for Newcastle United Women ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Jodie joined from Barclays Women's Championship side Coventry United Women, where she was captain in her second stint at the club, having spent two-and-a-half-years with Scottish giants Celtic Women.
During her time in Glasgow, Bartle experienced UEFA Women's Champions League football and lifted both the Scottish Women's Football League Cup and the Women's Scottish Cup.
Before her first stint at Coventry, the defender worked her way up the leagues, captaining Peterborough Northern Star and playing for Loughborough Foxes.
Injuries disrupted her first season on Tyneside, but she remained an important figure off the pitch even when unavailable, and was a hugely welcome addition to NUFC TV's live coverage of Newcastle United Women matches before returning in time to help United lift the FA Women's National League Northern Premier Division title.
