Versatile defender Kelly became Newcastle United's first signing of the summer 2024 transfer window when he penned a long-term deal at St. James' Park.
The 25-year-old arrived on Tyneside after spending five years at AFC Bournemouth, where he played under the Magpies' head coach Eddie Howe.
Capped at under-20 and under-21 level by England, Kelly - who can play at both centre half and left back - rose through the youth ranks at Bristol City before making his debut as a teenager in a 5-0 Carabao Cup victory over Plymouth Argyle in December 2017.
After spending eight years with the Robins, he was signed by Howe for the Cherries, where he played 141 times before making the switch to St. James' Park to link up with Howe once again.
