Hall is a teenage defender who initially joined the the club on a season-long loan from Chelsea in August 2023 before his move to St. James' Park became permanent in July 2024.

A boyhood Newcastle United fan, Lewis became the fifth arrival at St. James' Park of the summer 2023 transfer window. The full back, regarded as one of Chelsea's most highly rated Academy graduates, made 12 senior appearances for the Blues - including starts in both Premier League matches against Newcastle during the season before last.

He was named Chelsea's Academy Player of the Year for 2022/23 - just two years after Tino Livramento picked up the same accolade - and he was presented with the award on the pitch at Stamford Bridge before a 1-1 draw with the Magpies in May 2023.

His first season with United saw him pick up the Sela Player of the Month award for May 2024 and net twice against the Red Devils at Old Trafford in Carabao Cup and Premier League clashes.

Hall's form in the first half of the 2024/25 season saw him earn his first senior England call-up in November 2024. He made his Three Lions debut in a Nations League clash in Greece before registering his first start in the 5-0 victory over the Republic of Ireland at Wembley the following week.
