The talented forward made his debut for Newcastle's under-21 side during an EFL Trophy clash away at League Two Crewe Alexandra in November 2024 and scored on his home debut at second-string level during a Premier League 2 clash against Chelsea.
The highly-rated youngster made his first-team debut for Eddie Howe's side during a 2-0 win against Hull City in July 2024 before featuring in the Magpies' 4-0 friendly win against Girona at St. James' Park and will be targeting a professional bow during the 2024/25 campaign.
Sanusi was also a part of United's under-19s squad which competed in the 2023/24 UEFA Youth League as well as scoring in the FA Youth Cup for Newcastle's under-18 side in a 7-2 thrashing of Leyton Orient in round three.
Capped by England at under-17 level, he helped the young Lions secure qualification to the 2024 European Championship finals before an untimely meniscus injury ruled the Birmingham-born youngster out of a place in Greg Lincoln's finals squad in Cyprus.
