Newcastle looking to progress from group stages with win against Dutch side

And the Magpies know that victory against the Dutch outfit could see them progress to the quarter-finals.

United beat Sparta Prague 2-1 in their opening Group A match in October before losing by the same scoreline to Liverpool a month later. The Magpies were due to face PSV in December, but the game was postponed due to the visitors' league commitments.

Liverpool top the group with six points, having played all three of their games, while the other sides all have three points.

The six group winners and the two best runners-up advance to the quarter-finals.

Twelve teams from Premier League 2 and 12 equivalent teams from elite European Academies are invited, with the competition split into six groups of four.

Entry to Whitley Park in Benton is free to season ticket holders and members, otherwise it's £3 for adults and £1 concessions.
