The Division Two clash was due to take place on Friday, 11th March at the Barnfield Training Centre, with kick-off set at 1pm (GMT).

The game will now be played on Friday, 8th April, with the venue and kick-off time remaining the same as the original date.

Newcastle's youngsters currently sit in fourth place on 29 points, three adrift of second-placed Norwich City, although the young Magpies have two games in hand over their Canaries counterparts.

United's second-string face Birmingham City in their upcoming league fixture on Monday, 14th March, taking place at Whitley Park (kick-off 7pm GMT).
