United's second-string host their Black Cats counterparts at Whitley Park on Monday, 19th August (kick-off 7pm BST), with the young Magpies set to play 20 regular-season matches throughout the 2024-25 campaign.
After the regular season of 20 Matchweeks have been completed, the top 16 teams will qualify for a single elimination play-off, with teams drawn against each other based on their league positions, for example with the team finishing first facing the team that claimed 16th place.
