Newcastle United got straight to work in Japan as they get set for this week's 'J.League International Series 2024 powered by docomo'.

The Magpies - boosted by Bruno Guimarães' inclusion in the travelling party after his extended break following international duty - trained in Tokyo on Tuesday as they ready themselves for their clash with Urawa Red Diamonds at Saitama Stadium on Wednesday.

They will then face Yokohama F. Marinos at the Japan National Stadium on Saturday, with this training session in the sweltering heat United's first taste of the playing conditions they'll become familiar with this week. Harriet Massey was there to bring newcastleunited.com this gallery.
