Eddie Howe has named an unchanged Newcastle United side for Saturday's Premier League visit of Brentford

The Magpies thrashed Fulham 4-1 last time out to record their second win of the campaign so far, and head coach Howe has opted to keep faith with the same starting 11 that triumphed at Craven Cottage a week ago - despite the return to fitness of winger Allan Saint-Maximin, who has been named among the substitutes.

Nick Pope, a two-time FUN88 player of the month since his summer arrival from Burnley, starts in goal, with Kieran Trippier, Fabian Schär, Sven Botman and Dan Burn making up a back four.

In midfield, Sean Longstaff keeps his place and lines up alongside Bruno Guimarães and Joe Willock in the engine room.

And further forward, Miguel Almirón - who netted twice in the victory at Fulham - is deployed out wide, as is Jacob Murphy, with the pair looking to create opportunities for frontman Callum Wilson.

Saint-Maximin's return to the is a boost for Howe and his men, who have a strong-looking bench to call upon, with Joelinton, Ryan Fraser and Chris Wood also named.

Elliot Anderson is also included, as is goalkeeper Loris Karius, captain Jamaal Lascelles and full backs Jamal Lewis and Matt Targett.
