The leading scorer missed the midweek loss at Liverpool with a slight groin injury but is back to face the Seagulls at St. James' Park in the 1:45pm (GMT) kick-off.

Joelinton makes a timely return to action after a month out after suffering a knee injury against Fulham at the beginning of February.

Also coming into the side are Martin Dúbravka, Kieran Trippier, Lewis Miley and Harvey Barnes.

Nick Pope, Lewis Hall, Bruno Guimarães, Jacob Murphy, Joe Willock and Callum Wilson make way, with Hall not named in the squad at all due to an ankle injury. Trippier captains the side, with Dan Burn lining up against his previous club.
