Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe has named an unchanged side for Sunday afternoon's Premier League game at Nottingham Forest (kick-off 2pm GMT).

The Magpies head to the City Ground on the back of last weekend's 1-0 win over Arsenal, and after celebrating the third anniversary of his appointment as United's head coach on Friday, Howe has elected to keep faith with the side that beat the Gunners for the clash with high-flying Forest.

That means Nick Pope starts in goal behind a back four featuring Tino Livramento, Fabian Schär, Dan Burn and Lewis Hall.

Sean Longstaff, Bruno Guimarães and Joe Willock line up in the middle of the park, with Anthony Gordon and Joelinton providing support for frontman Alexander Isak, who was last weekend's matchwinner.

There are just two changes among the substitutes, with Jacob Murphy and Matt Targett replacing Emil Krafth and Alex Murphy on the bench.

Martin Dúbravka, Lloyd Kelly, Lewis Miley, Sandro Tonali, Miguel Almirón, Harvey Barnes and Will Osula are also named and could be called upon during the contest with Nuno Espírito Santo's side, who currently sit third in the table.
