Newcastle United head coach Steve Bruce has named an unchanged starting XI for the Magpies’ Premier League clash at Chelsea on Saturday afternoon (3pm kick-off).

Bruce has opted to keep faith with the same side which beat Manchester United 1-0 just under a fortnight ago, so youngster Matty Longstaff keeps his place in midfield alongside older brother Sean.

Martin Dúbravka continues in goal, with DeAndre Yedlin, Fabian Schär, Jamaal Lascelles, Ciaran Clark and Jetro Willems lining up in front of him.

The Longstaff brothers anchor the United midfield with Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almirón out wide, while number nine Joelinton continues in attack.

There are no changes on the bench, either, which means that Karl Darlow, Emil Krafth and Paul Dummett are among the substitutes.

Jonjo Shelvey, Christian Atsu, Dwight Gayle and Andy Carroll could also be called upon from the bench as the visitors head to Stamford Bridge looking for a second successive league victory.
