Robson, who opened the scoring in the first home match of the season against Stockport, recalled the moment she heard the 1,500 supporters before kick-off at the Newcastle Falcons' ground.
"When you are in the tunnel on your way out onto the pitch you can see them and you can hear them," she said. “Having them there backing us up meant that even mistakes that we made, we knew they were there, so we made sure we won the next (challenge)."
The Lady Magpies went on the defeat Stockport 2-0, maintaining their perfect start to the 2022/23 season, and Robson revealed her relief at breaking the deadlock against the visitors' resilient backline.
"It felt really good to score," she said. "I feel like it was a long time coming.
"We really needed a goal to ease the pressure on us a bit and it was just a case of it falling in front of me outside the box, and I just went for it."
Despite the positive result, the winger believes that there are still areas where Langley's side can improve ahead of this weekend's clash with the Tigresses (kick-off 2pm BST).
"I feel like we dominated possession (against Stockport), but it was a bit scrappy in the first half to be honest," she said. "I feel like as a team and as a group, we knew we could improve and all we needed to do was pick up the game a little bit; instead of just having possession, doing something with it and looking after the ball a bit better.
"There were times where we gave the ball away too easily. All we had to do was play our game and we knew (the opening goal) was going to come."
Heading into the Lady Magpies' third fixture of the season, Robson outlined her aims for the clash against Hull.
"(We want to) progress on last week and the first week against Merseyrail," she said. "We had a positive result in the first week of the season and a positive result last week, and we have to build on that.
"If we just keep pushing forward, we will end up scoring more goals and allowing less shots from our opponents."
