Tim Robinson will be the referee for Newcastle United's Premier League visit of Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3pm GMT).

After beating Blackburn Rovers via penalties to book their place in the Emirates FA Cup quarter-finals on Tuesday night, Eddie Howe's side return to Premier League action this weekend aiming to leapfrog Wolves with a victory and this is the third time the West Sussex official has officiated a fixture involving the Magpies this term.

Promoted to the Select Group 1 for the 2023/24 campaign, Robinson oversaw Newcastle's 4-0 home win against Crystal Palace in October, booking five players at St. James' Park including Kieran Trippier and Sean Longstaff.

Robinson, who made his Premier League debut as a referee during United's 1-0 defeat at Burnley during the 2019/20 campaign, also took charge of the Magpies' 3-0 defeat against Everton at Goodison Park back in December, handing out three yellow cards but booked no Newcastle players.
