The Magpies welcome Champions League-chasing Spurs to St. James' Park, with Eddie Howe's side harbouring European ambitions of their own which have been boosted by their recent three-game unbeaten run which has seen them secure wins over West Ham and Fulham and a draw against Everton.

And Robinson - whos first Premier League game was Burnley's 1-0 win over United in December 2019 - has been confirmed for the fixture, which will be the West Sussex-born official's fourth appointment involving Eddie Howe's side so far this term.

He was in the middle for the Magpies' 4-0 home win over Crystal Palace in October, as well as their 3-0 reverse at Everton in December. More recently, Robinson oversaw Newcastle's 1-0 victory over Wolves last month, and in his 25 games across the Premier League, Championship and Carabao Cup this term, he is yet to keep his cards pocketed.
