And supporters will be able to watch the game, which kicks off at 19:00 (BST), live and exclusive on the Official Newcastle United App.
The young Magpies started the season with a 1-1 derby draw with Sunderland - a game also shown live on the App, which was launched last month.
United then beat Spurs 1-0, with Ben Parkinson on target, and while they slipped to a 1-0 loss to Derby in their third league match, Newcastle responded with a 2-2 draw at Bradford City in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy before beating the League Two side 4-3 on penalties.
Several of the club's promising youngsters - including Parkinson, England youth international Trevan Sanusi and gifted midfielder Alfie Harrison - featured for Eddie Howe's first team in pre-season.
Admission for Friday's Premier League 2 clash is free for Newcastle United season ticket holders, otherwise it's £3 for adults and £1 concessions.
But fans who can't make the match can watch for free - anywhere in the world - via the Official Newcastle United App.
