Craig Pawson will be the referee for Newcastle United's Premier League trip to Everton on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 5.30pm BST).

Eddie Howe's side travel to Merseyside for their final Premier League clash at Goodison Park and this will be the second time Pawson has officiated a fixture involving the Magpies so far this term.

The Sheffield-born whistler oversaw Newcastle's 1-0 win against Southampton on the opening day of the 2024/25 season, sending off Swiss defender Fabian Schär at St. James' Park as well as handing out six yellow cards, booking Dan Burn and Lewis Hall.

The 45-year-old took charge of United's 1-0 win against Brentford during the 2023/24 season, awarding a penalty which was converted by Callum Wilson, whilst brandishing eight yellow cards, booking Bruno Guimarães, Anthony Gordon and Wilson.

A FIFA-listed referee since 2015, Pawson was the man in the middle for Newcastle's Emirates FA Cup third round victory against rivals Sunderland in January, showing six yellow cards in total at the Stadium of Light that afternoon, booking Guimarães and Gordon.
