The young players will join the Magpies on a full-time basis having left school in the summer.

Aidan Harris, Anthony Munda, Joe Brayson, Thomas Bryant, Luke Craggs, Adam Harrison, Sean Neave and Logan Watts have all been offered scholarships at the Magpies’ youth set-up.

Newcastle United can confirm 16-year-old midfielder Ollie Harrison, part of England's under-16 side which won the Mondial Montiagu Tournament in April, has joined Chelsea on a scholarship agreement.

Academy Director Steve Harper welcomes the new under-17 scholars and looks forward to working with them and helping them develop over the next two years.
