This November, Newcastle United is proud to stand together with football clubs throughout the United Kingdom in support of the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal.

As a symbol of respect, Newcastle United players will wear shirts featuring an emblem of the poppy in the upcoming matches against Arsenal and Nottingham Forest. After the matches, these unique shirts will be signed by players and made available to own via auction, exclusively on the MatchWornShirt website and app. All of the net proceeds of these auctions will be allocated to the Royal British Legion.

The exclusive shirt auction will go live from kick-off with supporters able to bid on their favourite player shirts via MatchWornShirt.

Newcastle United fans can also pay their respects to the Armed Forces with limited edition pin badges which are available to purchase from the new-look club store at St. James' Park. Priced at £6, profits from the sales of the pin badges will also be donated to the Royal British Legion.

THIS WEEKEND AT ST. JAMES' PARK

Supporters attending the game this weekend are encouraged to arrive early and take their seats ahead of a minute's silence prior to kick-off.

The club and players from both teams will pay their respects in the centre circle, be joined by members of the armed forces for the short commemoration.

Supporters sat in the East Stand will help form a huge stadium display courtesy of Wor Flags. Each seat will have a card placed on it, with supporters asked to hold this up during the minute's silence.
