Newcastle United will continue to show support for Stonewall's Rainbow Laces campaign during the Premier League fixture against Liverpool on Wednesday, 4th December 2024.

All Premier League fixtures between 29th November and 5th December are dedicated to the campaign, providing a platform for clubs to celebrate their ongoing commitment to inclusion and year-round support for the LGBTQ+ community within football.

The midweek match at St. James' Park will see team captains enter the field wearing rainbow armbands, with branding on ball plinths, handshake boards and substitution boards also displaying support for the campaign.

Through the power of football, the campaign aims to encourage fans to demonstrate allyship, hold open conversations to support the LGBTQ+ community and help create environments where everyone feels welcome. Clubs across the league continue to promote equality and diversity, from creating inclusive atmospheres at stadiums to the delivery of community projects.

Newcastle United work with supporters' groups from diverse backgrounds, including United With Pride, through a number of year-round engagement events and initiatives encompassed by the club's equality, diversity and inclusion campaign, United As One.
