Newcastle United is increasing its matchday catering options with a pilot project which will see St. James’ Park kiosks offering more vegan and gluten-free options for supporters.

Launching this weekend when the Magpies take on Nottingham Forest, supporters will be able to purchase items from a new range of products which includes gluten-free pulled pork loaded fries, pulled pork loaded nachos, as well as vegan pie options. Halal options will also be phased into the catering options with salt and pepper chicken loaded fries, whilst changes will see the popular chicken Balti pie have a recipe update from the upcoming Emirates FA Cup tie against Brighton and Hove Albion.

The additional food items will be available initially for supporters in the East Stand and are provided by the club's long-serving catering partner, Sodexo Live! who joined the club's supporter services team to gain fan feedback on food and drink options on a matchday.

The feedback, from the club's recent food and beverage supporter workshop, requested more diverse catering options to suit a wider range of dietary requirements and comes on the back of investment across menu options and catering facilities for supporters on a matchday.

Matchday kiosks are available to all supporters 90 minutes before kick-off when turnstiles open, with food options starting from £3.90 and confectionary options priced from £2.00. To see a full list of all catering options and locations, please click here

Supporter feedback continues to be welcomed across all areas of the football club and fans wishing to provide input on the catering options can email the club via [email protected].
