United are due to face Spurs at St. James' Park on Sunday 23rd April, with kick-of initially set for 2pm.
But the Premier League confirmed on Thursday that a number of matches, including some involving Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Southampton, are subject to change depending on clubs' participation in UEFA competitions and the FA Cup.
The Magpies' game against Antonio Conte's men next month is one such fixture and, following Manchester United's progression in the Europa League on Thursday, any rearrangement of Newcastle's clash with Tottenham will be confirmed following the FA Cup quarter-finals.
Any amendments to Eddie Howe's side's schedule will be announced in due course.
