All of Newcastle United’s Premier League fixtures in September will now be broadcast live in the UK, it has been confirmed – with Saturday’s trip to West Ham now set to kick-off at 8pm.

It was announced on Tuesday that an agreement has been reached which will see all of this month’s behind closed doors top-flight fixtures made available to watch across a handful of broadcasters, with the Magpies’ league opener at the London Stadium this weekend one of the first games to have its kick-off time altered accordingly.

Steve Bruce’s side were set to take on the Hammers at 3pm on Saturday, but that game has now been put back with kick-off now set for 8pm – and the match will be shown live on Sky Sports.

It will be the Magpies’ fourth visit to the ground in Stratford since the Hammers’ move from Upton Park in 2016, with Newcastle having won on two of their three previous visits to the London Stadium. Goals from Federico Fernández, Ciaran Clark and Jonjo Shelvey sealed a 3-2 victory in the capital last term.

Meanwhile, Bruce’s side’s first home league game of the campaign against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday, 20th September will remain a 2pm kick-off, but will now also be shown live on Sky Sports.

And Newcastle’s final league game of the month at Tottenham Hotspur – which is currently scheduled for Saturday, 26th September at 3pm – will also be televised and could be subject to change, pending further confirmation.
