Newcastle United have been drawn at home to Brighton & Hove Albion in the fifth round of the FA Cup following their 3-2 win over Birmingham.

A goal from Callum Wilson and two from Joe Willock saw the Magpies come from behind to beat the Blues at St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park on Saturday.

The draw for the next round took place on Monday evening and United were pitted at St. James' Park against Brighton, who knocked out Chelsea in the fourth round.

Ties in the fifth round will be played across the weekend of Saturday, 1st March 2025. More information, including ticket details, will be confirmed on newcastleunited.com in due course.

Newcastle will be looking to improve on their FA Cup record against the Seagulls; their only win in six previous meetings in the competition came in the fifth round in 1929/30. United were 3-0 victors that day, but went out of the cup in consecutive seasons to Brighton in 2011/12 and 2012/2013.
