All top flight clubs are required to submit squad lists of no more than 25 players, with no more than 17 who do not fulfil the home-grown player criteria, to cover the period until the end of the winter transfer window in January.
Summer signings Lloyd Kelly, John Ruddy and Odysseas Vlachodimos are all included for the Magpies, along with defenders Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles, who are both working their way back from injury.
The list only covers contracted players over the age of 21, meaning younger players like Lewis Miley, Trevan Sanusi and Alex Murphy - along with first team signings Lewis Hall and Will Osula - are still eligible to play but do not need to be named on the list.
Newcastle United's 25-man squad for the first half of the season is as follows:
Martin Dúbravka
Kieran Trippier
Sven Botman
Fabian Schär
Jamaal Lascelles
Joelinton
Sandro Tonali
Callum Wilson
Anthony Gordon
Harvey Barnes
Matt Targett
Alexander Isak
Emil Krafth
Odysseas Vlachodimos
Tino Livramento
Nick Pope
