newcastleunited.com rounds up the action involving the Magpies' first team and academy players who are currently out on loan...

Joe White

After celebrating his 22nd birthday with his first MK Dons goal in their thrashing of Harrogate Town in midweek, Carlisle-born midfielder White was at it again on his home debut for the League Two side on Saturday, putting Scott Lindsay's men in front against Tranmere Rovers.

It was a fine way to mark his home debut as his fizzing first-time drive nestled in top right-hand corner to give the hosts the lead at Stadium MK.

White was withdrawn for Tom Carroll four minutes after the hour, with Tranmere managing to plunder a stoppage-time equaliser through Regan Hendry as it finished 1-1.

Max Thompson

The weekend brought a Chesterfield league debut for young goalkeeper Thompson, who lined up between the sticks for the Spireites' 2-2 draw with Walsall in League Two. His only previous outing for Paul Cook's men had come in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy in September, shortly after his arrival on a season-long loan.

Jamal Lewis

Lewis started for São Paulo at Cuiabá in Brazil's Série A, but his side were comfortably beaten 2-0 and the Northern Ireland full back was substituted not long after the hour mark.

Harrison Ashby

Full back Ashby was part of the Queens Park Rangers side that were beaten 2-0 at Derby County in the Championship on Saturday - his first start for the R's. He was taken off after 63 minutes.

Miodrag Pivaš

Serbian youngster Pivaš didn't make it off the bench as Willem II secured a 1-0 victory at Almere City in the Dutch Eredivisie on Friday night.
