The Stanley-born midfielder, older brother of Lewis, made his professional league bow for Newport County as the League Two side recorded a 2-0 victory away at Gillingham on Tuesday night.
The 20-year-old, who played 70 minutes at the Priestfield Stadium, underwent surgery following a hernia injury after his debut for County in a Bristol Street Motors Trophy clash against Cheltenham Town in September.

The Cumbrian midfielder, who made four Premier League outings for Eddie Howe's side last season, was handed a start in Milton Keynes Dons' 2-1 home win against Accrington Stanley, playing the opening 45 minutes at Stadium MK before being replaced by Tom Carroll before the restart.

The Scotland Under-21 international, who spent the 2023/24 campaign on loan at Swansea City, featured as a second-half substitute in Queens Park Rangers' 1-1 draw at home at Coventry City, with the right-back playing the final ten minutes of the Championship clash.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper, a representative of England at under-18 level, played the full 90 minutes of Chesterfield's 1-1 draw against Colchester United in League Two.
