Newcastle United's players have generously donated their limited edition United As One shirts to raise money to support community projects across the region

The shirts, featuring the club's new black and white solidarity ribbon, were worn by the team during the Magpies' 3-1 Premier League victory over Southampton last weekend.

United As One encapsulates all of Newcastle United's diversity, inclusion and welfare initiatives, which are geared towards ending discrimination and inequality in football and in society.

Player shirts available from the auction include: Martin Dúbravka, Miguel Almirón, Isaac Hayden, Jamaal Lascelles, Fabian Schär and Salomón Rondón. The auction will go live at 6pm (BST) on Friday.

Caroline Brown, events manager at Newcastle United Foundation, said: "The Foundation is a proud stakeholder of United As One and we're incredibly grateful to the club for donating these special edition shirts to us.

"The funds raised will support projects promoting inclusivity across Newcastle, Gateshead, Northumberland and North Tyneside."

Auction items will be listed on Newcastle United Foundation’s eBay auction site, which can be found here, and every penny raised will go to Newcastle United Foundation to help support local children and families (registered charity no. 1124896).
