The two-day invitational tournament, for players born in 2012, saw Newcastle's youngsters finish top of the Black and White League on Saturday in a group comprising of eight teams, including Stoke City, Crewe Alexandra, Lech Poznan, Vitesse Arnhem, Hearts, Motherwell and Carlisle United, claiming 12 points from seven matches.
Advancing into the Black and White Cup competition on Sunday, along with Lech Poznan, Crewe and Stoke, the young Magpies finished in third place of the four-team group before claiming a 1-0 win against their Potters counterparts in the third-place play-off, with Crewe crowned the eventual winners following a 1-0 final win over Lech Poznan.
The trophy and medals were handed out by Newcastle United midfielder Elliot Anderson, who joined the Magpies' Academy at the age of eight before progressing through the club's youth ranks.
